For this project, we were given the phrase "Be a good human" and the freedom to interpret it in any way we wanted, no matter how controversial. I chose to address abortion, inspired by New York's notoriously high abortion rate. The deliverables included a website, an app, and a set of three posters designed to be displayed in New York City subways and promote a real-life, NYC-specific event. I focused on presenting the unborn as precious but undervalued, using black-and-white imagery to highlight their fragility, contrasted with red accents symbolizing the lives lost. The design allowed research and scientific evidence to speak for themselves while maintaining respect for the sensitive topic.
